Criteria for Eligibility
Educational Qualification
As of the cut-off date, candidates applying for NCL Apprentice Trainee positions must have the necessary educational qualifications from recognized institutions. Below are the comprehensive qualification requirements:
- Essential qualifications: Graduate in Commerce from recognized University/Institute as a full time regular course in relevant discipline OR Diploma in Civil Engineering from AICTE/State Technical Board recognized Diploma as a full time regular course in relevant discipline.

- Experience: Apprenticeship Training in Industry as per the Apprenticeship Act amended from time to time/having job experience for a period of one year or more are in case the date of Declaration of result is not mentioned in the Mark Sheet, the candidate must submit a certificate mentioning the date of publication of result from the Principal of the College/Institute from where the candidate pursued his Application Form.
- Desirable: Higher qualification over and above the prescribed qualification shall not be considered eligible for the above notified positions.
Age Limit
- Mindestens 18 Jahre und maximal 26 Jahre am Stichtag, dem 15.12.2025. This means that the Candidate/Applicant’s date of birth should fall on or between 02/12/1999 and 01/12/2007.
- The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and by 3 years for OBC candidates. For Slots/Seats belonging to PwBD categories, the age relaxation is up to 10 years (up to 15 years for SC/ST and up to 13 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates).
Selection Process
- Merit-Based Shortlisting:
- Candidates will be shortlisted purely on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in their qualifying Diploma or Graduation.
- Separate Merit Lists:
- NCL will prepare discipline-wise merit lists for Diploma (Civil Engineering) and B.Com Graduate apprentices.
