Educational Qualification
- Qualifications (Deputy Project Director): Post-graduate in Agriculture/Allied Sector. Minimum 5 years’ experience in managerial or supervisory capacity in Agriculture And Allied Sector/BTM having 5 years of experience is also eligible.
- Qualifications (Accountant cum Clerk): B. Com. Minimum 3 years’ Experience of Accountancy in a reputed organization.
- Qualifications (Computer Programmer): B. Tech in Computer Science or MCA. 1 year Experience for B. Tech and 2 years for MCA.
- Qualifications (Block Technology Manager): Post Graduate in Agriculture & Allied Sector with Computer Skills or Agri Graduate with minimum 5 years working experience as ATM. Minimum 2 years field experience in Agri related activities.
- Qualifications (Assistant Technology Manager): Graduate (Agri/Allied Sector)/Post Graduate (Agri/Allied Sector). Minimum 1 year Experience in Agri related activities.
- Candidates must hold the prescribed qualification and experience on the date of submission of their application.
Age Limit
21 to 40/45 years (as on 01.01.2025)
- Minimum age: 21 years for all posts.
- Maximum age for Deputy Project Director, Accountant cum Clerk and Computer Programmer: 40 years.
- Maximum age for Block Technology Manager and Assistant Technology Manager: 45 years.
- Age limit is calculated based on Matriculation/HSLC Admit Card/Certificate.
Selection Process
AAU Recruitment 2025 will have an open and merit-based selection process. The following steps will be used to choose candidates for positions such as Deputy Project Director, Accountant-cum-Clerk, and others:

Eligible candidates will be required to appear for an objective-type written test (OMR based). The examination will consist of 100 marks and there will be no negative marking for wrong answers. - Document Verification:

The final selection will be made purely on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination, subject to successful document verification.
Salary & Benefits
Candidates chosen through AAU Recruitment 2025 will get a set monthly salary based on the position they are assigned to. The CSS-ATMA project offers a good wage that is paid on a contractual basis. Block Technology Manager (BTM) and Accountant-cum-Clerk positions will pay ₹30,000 per month, while the Deputy Project Director would receive a combined salary of ₹52,000. The monthly salary for the posts of Assistant Technology Manager (ATM) and Computer Programmer will be ₹25,000.
Selected candidates will receive a salary in addition to options for contract extension depending on performance and project requirements, exposure to field-level implementation, and professional work experience in government-sponsored agricultural projects. Even though the positions are only temporary and contractual, they provide worthwhile experience, a steady monthly salary for the duration of the contract, and the opportunity to collaborate directly with the Assamese government’s Directorate of Agriculture.
