Educational Qualification

1. Dental Surgeon
   • Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S.) degree from a recognized university.
   • Must be registered with the Uttar Pradesh Dental Council.
2. Veterinary Officer
   • Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) degree from a recognized university.
   • Registration with UP Veterinary Council is required.
3. Medical Officer (Community Health – Ayurvedic/Unani)
   • Degree in Ayurveda or Unani Tib from a recognised university.
   • Registered as a Vaidya or Hakeem with the Board of Indian Medicine — plus typically 6 months professional experience.
4. Homoeopathic Medical Officer
   • Recognised degree in Homoeopathy (minimum 5 years) or equivalent.
   • Registered with the Homoeopathic Medicine Board.
5. Swasthya Shiksha Adhikari (Health Education Officer)
   • Master’s degree in Sociology or any Social Science subject (e.g., Anthropology, Psychology, Geography, History, Economics).
6. Inspector of Drugs
   • Degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Medicine (with specialisation in Clinical Pharmacology/Microbiology) from a recognised university.
   • Often 18–36 months relevant experience is required.
7. Chikitsa Adhikari (Ayurved)
   • Degree or 5-year diploma in Ayurveda, registered as a Vaidya, plus 6 months experience.
8. Chikitsa Adhikari (Unani)
   • Degree or 5-year diploma in Unani Tib with registration as Hakeem and 6 months professional experience.
9. Chikitsa Adhikari (Homoeopathic)
   • Recognized degree or 4-year diploma in Homoeopathy with registration.
10. Vetting Officer
    • Bachelor’s degree in Arts/Science/Commerce with minimum 50% marks.
    • LL.B. (3-year or 5-year) with minimum 50% marks.

Age Limit 

21 to 40 years

• Age Relaxation: Maximum age limit relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Skilled players of U.P./State Govt. Employees of U.P. (only domiciled persons of U.P.)
• Ex-Servicemen: Upper age limit greater by 3 years + period of service rendered in army for emergency commissioned/short service commissioned officers/Ex-Army personnel of U.P.
• PH Candidates: Relaxation of 15 years in upper age limit
• Age relaxation as per rules and government orders

Selection Process

1. Written Examination (Preliminary/Screening)
   • All eligible applicants must first appear in a written test conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission.

• उत्तर प्रदेश दंत परिषद में पंजीकृत होना अनिवार्य है।

पशु चिकित्सा अधिकारी

• किसी मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय से बैचलर ऑफ वेटेरिनरी साइंस एंड एनिमल हसबेंड्री (बी.वी.एससी. एंड ए.एच.) की डिग्री।
• उत्तर प्रदेश पशु चिकित्सा परिषद में पंजीकरण अनिवार्य है।

चिकित्सा अधिकारी (सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य – आयुर्वेदिक/यूनानी)

• किसी मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय से आयुर्वेद या यूनानी तिब में डिग्री।
• भारतीय चिकित्सा बोर्ड में वैद्य या हकीम के रूप में पंजीकृत होना – साथ ही आमतौर पर 6 महीने का पेशेवर अनुभव।

होम्योपैथिक चिकित्सा अधिकारी

• होम्योपैथी में मान्यता प्राप्त डिग्री (न्यूनतम 5 वर्ष का अनुभव) या समकक्ष।
• होम्योपैथिक चिकित्सा बोर्ड में पंजीकृत होना अनिवार्य है।

स्वास्थ्य शिक्षा अधिकारी (Health Education Officer)

• समाजशास्त्र या किसी भी सामाजिक विज्ञान विषय (जैसे, मानवशास्त्र, मनोविज्ञान, भूगोल, इतिहास, अर्थशास्त्र) में स्नातकोत्तर डिग्री।

औषधि निरीक्षक

• किसी मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय से फार्मेसी, फार्मास्युटिकल विज्ञान या चिकित्सा (नैदानिक ​​फार्माकोलॉजी/सूक्ष्मजीवविज्ञान में विशेषज्ञता सहित) में डिग्री।
• आमतौर पर 18-36 महीने का प्रासंगिक अनुभव आवश्यक होता है।

चिकित्सा अधिकारी (आयुर्वेद)

आयु सीमा

21 से 40 वर्ष

• आयु में छूट: अनुसूचित जाति/अनुसूचित जनजाति/अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग/उत्तर प्रदेश के कुशल खिलाड़ियों/उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य सरकार के कर्मचारियों (केवल उत्तर प्रदेश के निवासी) के लिए अधिकतम आयु सीमा में 5 वर्ष की छूट दी जाएगी।
• पूर्व सैनिक: आपातकालीन कमीशन प्राप्त/अल्पकालिक कमीशन प्राप्त अधिकारियों/उत्तर प्रदेश के पूर्व सैन्य कर्मियों के लिए ऊपरी आयु सीमा में 3 वर्ष + सेना में दी गई सेवा अवधि की छूट दी जाएगी।
