Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDL) has announced the Mazagon Dock Apprentices Recruitment 2025 for the hiring of 200 apprentices in accordance with the Apprentices Act. Graduate and diploma holders have a fantastic opportunity to obtain practical industrial training in one of India’s top public sector defense shipbuilding projects through this recruiting drive. Criteria for Eligibility

Educational Qualification

• Qualifications: A Diploma in Engineering or technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in relevant discipline. A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a recognized University in relevant discipline. A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by an institution recognized by State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above.
• Qualifications: A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by a Statutory University in relevant discipline. A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by an Institution empowered to grant such degree by an Act of Parliament in relevant discipline. Graduate examination of Professional bodies recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above.
• Qualifications: The degree in B. B. A., B. Com, B. C. A. & B.S.W. granted by a statutory university in relevant discipline / or by an institution empowered to grant such degree by an act of parliament in relevant discipline / graduate examination of professional bodies recognized by the state government or central government as equivalent to above.
• Essential qualifications: Diploma / General Graduate / Engineering Graduate Candidate passed their Diploma / Degree course recognized by AICTE or GOI, on or after 01 April 2021 are eligible to apply.

 Age Limit 

• 18 to 27 years
• Age relaxation by 5 yrs. for SC/ST, 3 yrs. for OBC-NCL and 10 yrs. for Physically challenged

Selection Process

The Mazagon Dock Apprentices Recruitment 2025 selection procedure is straightforward and merit-based, guaranteeing openness and equity. It consists of the following phases:

Merit List Preparation

• A provisional merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination (Degree/Diploma as applicable).

• Stipend Paid Monthly: Direct benefit transfer (DBT) to the candidate’s bank account.
• No Application Fee: There is no fee to apply for any category.
• Training Experience: Practical industrial training at a premier defence shipyard — valuable for future job prospects.
• Leave Benefits: Apprentices generally are eligible for casual leave and medical leave during the training period, as per company and Apprenticeship Act norms
