Criteria for Eligibility
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed a recognized board or institution’s Matriculation (10th Class) test or its equivalent.
For the MTS position, neither a higher degree nor any prior experience are necessary. As long as they fulfill the age requirements and other eligibility requirements specified in the official notification, candidates with qualifications higher than the tenth grade are also allowed to apply.
Age Limit
18 to 27 years (as per post; age relaxation as per advertisement)
- Age limit for MTS posts in all listed departments: 18–27 years / Between 18–27 years / 18 to 27 years as indicated in respective department details.
- Age relaxation will be given as per para 8 (Category-wise) of the advertisement, including relaxations for SC/ST, OBC, PwBD, Ex-servicemen, departmental candidates, Meritorious Sports Persons, Disabled Defence Services personnel, and widows/divorced women/women judicially separated and not re-married.
Selection Process
- One Tier Computer Based Test (CBT)
The CBT will consist of objective-type multiple choice questions covering subjects such as General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning, Arithmetic & Numerical Ability, and Language (Hindi/English). The exam will be conducted in online mode and candidates must secure the required qualifying marks to move to the next stage. - Document Verification
Candidates shortlisted on the basis of the CBT will be called for document verification. Original certificates related to educational qualification, age, category, and other eligibility conditions will be verified at this stage. - Medical Examination
Finally, candidates who clear document verification will have to undergo a medical examination to ensure they are medically fit for appointment to the MTS post. - Final selection will be based on merit in the Computer Based Test, subject to successful document verification and medical fitness.

According to the 7th Pay Commission, candidates chosen for the Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) positions in DSSSB Recruitment 2026 will be assigned under Pay Level–1.

शैक्षणिक योग्यता
- उम्मीदवारों को किसी मान्यता प्राप्त बोर्ड या संस्थान से मैट्रिकुलेशन (10वीं कक्षा) परीक्षा या उसके समकक्ष उत्तीर्ण होना अनिवार्य है।
- एमटीएस पद के लिए उच्च डिग्री या पूर्व अनुभव की आवश्यकता नहीं है। आधिकारिक अधिसूचना में निर्दिष्ट आयु और अन्य पात्रता आवश्यकताओं को पूरा करने वाले उम्मीदवार भी आवेदन कर सकते हैं, बशर्ते उनकी योग्यता 10वीं कक्षा से अधिक हो।
